Highlights of my stay at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel
We stayed in the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington for a few days for the convention the company held last summer. We didn't have to pay so I can't comment on the price of the hotel, but I'll gladly share what I think about the facilities, amenities, and the experience we had in this hotel and I was a bit shocked when I discover their cheap hotel rates.First off, it was really clean despite the fact that there was some kind of construction going on when we arrived there. It was also surprisingly peaceful, especially at night. We figured it would be a little noisy because of the construction, but it wasn't. We wouldn't even notice that there was something going on if it weren't for a construction worker or two suddenly popping out from somewhere carrying something. But overall, it had been a quiet stay. I commend Marriott Wardman Park Hotel for making sure that the guests still have their privacy and the needed quiet time despite the renovation of some sort they had going.
The food at the restaurant was also awesome! We were served food from Stone's Throw and it was just delightful that I had to forget about watching my eat and indulge to good food for once. The hotel decorations were also nice. I figured they had a theme or something, and I really like the fact that they really put an effort into providing not only a great experience for their guests but also for always making sure that everything looks nice and appealing.
